Peyton Freeney

My name is Peyton Freeney and I am a filmmaker born and
raised in Eastern Iowa(the one with the corn, not the
potatoes). I’m a writer, director, and animator based in New
York City.

When I’m not performing for hundreds of my fans in the
shower, I’m listening, playing, or thinking about music. I love
to draw and paint as a way to express the thousands of
stories and thoughts running around in my brains.

Whether it’s through fairytales or mythology

I will always be a storyteller at heart. I believe animation
holds the power to convey these stories in unique and
imaginative ways. I would like to be a part of the process of
creating these stories and how they are represented on
screen. No matter what journey I embark on a piece of

my history and culture will proudly follow.
